David is a production designer based in Melbourne, Australia. Most recently, he designed the set for The Possibilities (written by Howard Barker) presented at the Sidetrack Theatre in Sydney. He also designed the sets for school productions of Oliver! and Oh! What a Lovely War and High School Musical.
In 2009 David completed a Graduate Diploma in Production (Design) at the Victorian College of the Arts where he designed the set for 10|01 (devised and directed by Sapidah Kian) and set and costumes for Christie in Love (by Howard Brenton, Directed by Fiona Hallenan-Barker). He was also awarded the 2009 Trina Parker Design Scholarship.
During earlier study of the Bachelor of Production at the Victorian College of the Arts, David designed the sets for One For The Road (by Harold Pinter, Directed by Brendan O'Connell) and Too Young For Ghosts (by Janis Balodis, Directed by Ailsa Piper). He also worked on Navigators (2006 Melbourne Arts Festival), Into The Woods, Top Girls, Boxed In and The Saint Plays (Melbourne Theatre Company) in varying roles.
David was employed as a design assistant to Richard Roberts on DiVino (National Institute of Circus Arts) and My Fair Lady (Opera Australia).
